5. How information is shared
Service providers: hosting, cloud storage, analytics, crash reporting, email, SMS, push notification, customer support, identity/security, and technical operations providers.
Payment providers and hosted checkout partners: to process payments, verify transaction status, manage refunds/chargebacks, and prevent fraud. These providers process payment details under their own security and compliance obligations.
Digital fulfilment providers: VAS suppliers, utility providers, gift-card/voucher issuers, prepaid service providers, and other digital service partners that need recipient/service details to fulfil the user’s order.
Learning and tournament partners: instructors, content providers, tournament organizers, game partners, prize fulfilment providers, or moderators where needed to deliver the relevant service.
Public or community surfaces: public price share pages may show reported item, price, market/place, observed time, representative or evidence image labels, and general location context, but should not show private contributor identity or private view/helpfulness numbers. Public view counts and helpfulness counts are not shown.
Legal, safety, and business purposes: regulators, courts, law enforcement, professional advisers, or parties involved in a business transaction where legally permitted or required.
We do not sell personal information to advertisers. If this changes, the policy must be updated and required user choices must be provided.
6. Public content and community price data
Users who submit price observations, photos, reports, comments, team/tournament details, or other content should understand that some content may become visible to other users or, where sharing is enabled, to people with a public link.
Community prices are reported by people at a place and time. They are not guaranteed offers, professional advice, marketplace listings, reservations, or checkout promises.
Representative product images help users recognize an item but are not evidence of a specific seller’s current stock, quality, or price. Observation-specific photos may be displayed as evidence when tied to that observation.
We may moderate, hide, remove, restrict, or correct content according to our Terms and Conditions and safety policies.
7. Location, camera, photos, and permissions
The app may request permission to use camera, photo library, location, notifications, or related device functions. Users may manage permissions through device settings.
Location and photo data may be used to support price-observation trust, market coverage, nearby-price discovery, agent seeding, and public share functionality. Location signals are not intended to provide emergency services, navigation guarantees, or real-time safety advice.
Where photos contain EXIF data, the app may read relevant location/time information before upload for attestation and then strip EXIF where supported to reduce privacy risk.
8. Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide services, maintain account records, fulfil digital orders, support learning/tournament records, operate community price history, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, comply with legal/accounting obligations, and enforce our terms.
Some records, such as digital order references, payment status, fulfilment records, moderation history, security logs, and tournament results, may be retained after account deletion where necessary for legal, fraud-prevention, dispute, accounting, or safety reasons.
Users may request deletion of their account and applicable personal information through Account Deletion or by contacting oi@alwelt.com.
9. User choices and rights
Depending on location, users may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to certain processing of their personal information.
Users can update certain account/profile details in the app, manage notification preferences, control device permissions, or contact us for privacy requests.
Alwelt provides an in-app path (More → Support & Legal → Account Deletion) and this web path to request account deletion.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal information. No system is completely secure, and users should protect their login credentials and promptly tell us about suspected unauthorized access.
Full card details should be handled by payment providers through hosted checkout rather than being stored directly in the mobile app.
11. Children and young users
Alwelt is not intended for children under 13. If users under the age of majority access learning, tournament, community, or purchase-related features, parental/guardian consent may be required depending on applicable law, tournament rules, or platform requirements.
Tournament participation, rewards, and prize eligibility may be restricted by age, country, parental consent, or specific rules.
12. International transfers
Alwelt, its hosting providers, payment processors, cloud storage providers, VAS suppliers, and other service providers may process information in countries other than the user’s country. We take steps required by applicable law to protect information transferred internationally.
13. Third-party services and links
The app and website may link to or use third-party services, including app stores, hosted checkout providers, payment processors, VAS suppliers, cloud storage, analytics, learning tools, tournament tools, and social sharing platforms. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
14. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new “Last updated” date and provide additional notice where required by law.
